LiUNA Training
LIUNA is one of the largest labor unions in North America with 500,000 members and over 70 training centers in the U.S. and Canada, where they offer courses in various courses related to construction (Ex. Hazardous waste materials, Lead abatement, etc). In 2015, their Instructor Training Program, designed by LTC, was accredited by ANSI. That program includes two 30-hour asynchronous online courses, two 40-hour in-person courses, includes practice teaching and focuses on putting the Science of Learning into action in the classroom. |
32BJ Training
32BJSEIU is property service worker union with over 120,000 members, multiple training centers, and hundreds of course offerings over a wide range of subjects. It is part of the SEIU (Service Employees International Union), which has over 2 million members worldwide. LTC has worked closely with the instructors and staff at 32BJ to examine their current instructor development program and strategize ways of further supporting its instructors and students. |
North Carolina Outward Bound
For over 55 years, North Carolina Outward Bound School (NCOBS) has been delivering challenging outdoor adventure programs for people of all ages and walks of life. LTC worked with their team on ways of using the Principles of Learning to design their workshops and presentations for participants and their parents. |
California College of Arts
One of the premier institutions of higher learning for fine arts in California. Our most recent project with CCA was an analysis of their capacity to support English language learners, which involved learning their organization through extensive interviews and making recommendations. We have also worked with their faculty and tutors on making content accessible and designing learning-centered lessons. |
UC Berkeley Haas School of Business

Bay Area NVC
A hub for the research and teaching of non-violent communication and mediation training. We worked with their trainers to help them maximize participant learning through observations, feedback, and customized workshops. |

A non-profit organization serving recent immigrants. We have worked with their tutors in instructional design. |

Part of the University of Alaska statewide system of higher education. We worked with content teachers on how to make content more accessible to English language learners. |
